The automatic assembly of self-lubricating bushings on steel mounts was required. The process involves collecting mounts from a supply area, orientating them, collecting the bushings from the batch, orientating, lubricating and fitting them to the mount, then inserting them via the servo-powered electric press.
The system implements all necessary process phases autonomously, using a robot and two vision systems to collect the bushings from the batch and orientate the mounts.
